If you love to get out in the snow and get some exercise, snowshoeing is for you. Snowshoe rental is available at the Driftless Area Education & Visitor Center located just south of Lansing. Looking for a great place to snowshoe, head out to Yellow River Forest.

If you prefer to cross country ski, you will want to use Luster Heights Trails.

Northeast Iowa also offers miles and miles of snowmobiling trails.
