Scoring rubric – provides guidelines to score each application based on the criteria outlined in the Allamakee Lead Certificate. Points are awarded for each section, leading to a cumulative score that will assist reviewers in determining recipients. Total base points: 80.

- 5 points: Emerging leader
- 10 points: Acting leader
Available to attend all sessions in full
- 0 points: cannot attend all sessions
- 10 points: can attend all sessions
Impact and Benefit to Organization and Applicant
- 0 points: Does not describe potential benefits of attendance.
- 5 points: Provides a general benefit statement with limited connection.
- 10 points: Describe some benefit to the applicant’s role and organization.
- 15 points: Clearly describes benefit to the applicant’s role and organization
- 20 points: Thorough, detailed benefits
ACED Membership
- 0 points: Not a member of ACED
- 20 points: Member of ACED
Acknowledgment of Funding
- 0 points: no acknowledgment
- 5 points: acknowledgment
Budget
- 5 points: information is included but lacking completeness
- 10 points: Information is attached and complete
Bonus Adjustments
