Writers Wanted- Help us Tell our Local Stories!

The Standard Newspaper is seeking individuals intersted in helping to share with our readers the continually growing number of stories of the people, places and events in our Allamakee County communities.

Writing positions could be as specific as covering Lansing City Council meetings, to as general as writing human interest or feature stories as assigned or presented.

Part-time work can be done at home. Ability to communicate effectively and pay attention to detail are desired qualities.

Those interested are asked to email 2 to 3 samples of their previous writing, along with a note of writing interests, to news@waukonstandard.com.
