Writer (for Lansing City Council Meeting Coverage) – The Standard

The Standard Newspaper is seeking an individual to provide Lansing City Council Meeting Coverage.

Qualified individuals should possess:

  • An interest in the workings of city government
  • Belief in the importance of keeping the community informed
  • The ability to effectively communicate and conduct follow-up
  • The ability to attend regular council meetings held the first and third Mondays of each month at Lansing City Hall, in addition to occasional special meetings
    • Training will be provided, if necessary.
