One full-time Paramedic or Paramedic Student based in the Emergency Department, providing pre-hospital 911 response, Paramedic Intercepts with outlying services, and Inter-facility transports. Our Paramedics provide support facility-wide including Urgent Care duties, respiratory therapy, and assistance on the medical floor. Qualifications include current Iowa Paramedic licensure and BLS or EMT licensure with intent to obtain Paramedic licensure, and a current driver’s license. Additional training may be required upon hire and will be provided.
