Winter Resource Fair – NEIAWRC Community Center
Dear all,
I’m excited to share that, together with Lupita from Riverview Center, we are in the early stages of planning a Winter Resource Fair, which will take place at the NEIAWRC Community Center on Sunday, December 7th, from 1:00 to 4:30 PM.
I want to thank Lupita for having this wonderful idea and reaching out so it could become a reality.
Our goal is to bring together organizations that offer services and support to residents of Postville and Allamakee County. This event is an opportunity to connect community members with valuable resources in a warm, welcoming environment.
We plan to offer food during the fair, and Lupita is coordinating efforts to provide blankets to those in need. I’ll be working on gathering hats and gloves as well.
Our hope is to not only share resources but to ensure everyone feels supported and cared for during the winter months.
If your organization would like to participate—or if you know of other groups that might be interested—we would love to hear from you. Please feel free to reach out to either me or Lupita with any questions, ideas, or interest in joining the event.
