Spring Wildflower Hike

ACCB to host Spring Wildflower Hike

Join the Allamakee County Conservation Board for a Spring Wildflower Hike May 11th 2023, starting at 6:00 p.m. The
hike will take place in Yellow River State Forest, specific location TBD as the date approaches. The hike is open to all
who are interested but anyone under 16 is asked to have adult supervision.

The hike is limited to the first 20 people. Preregistration is required.

A trail will be selected as the date approaches based on trail conditions and the progression and abundance of spring
wildflowers. Registered hikers will then be notified as to the exact location via phone. Hikers are encouraged to wear
sturdy hiking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. The ACCB will have bug spray available, but feel free to
bring your own. We ask that any dogs being brought along are leashed at all times, per YRSF rules.
