Spring Volunteer Day-Everyone is welcome – Yellow River State Forest
Our main task is going to be making our state forest even more beautiful! Activities may include picking up trash, painting campsite marker posts and putting water-sealer on picnic tables. Supplies for these tasks will be provided. Other tasks may include cutting, splitting and stacking firewood (bring a chainsaw or splitter if you wish) and trail maintenance (bring pruning loppers or similar if you have them).
Please wear sturdy walking/ hiking shoes (long pants are a good idea), and work gloves if you wish.
Volunteers MUST SIGN AND TURN IN VOLUNTEER WAIVER FORMS. We need to track volunteer hours and make sure everyone stays safe.
Youth are welcome with adult supervision.

We will have lemonade and water, bring a sack lunch if you wish, and don’t forget sunscreen and insect repellent. (no alcohol please)
