Shopping for a Cause

Every year I put on Shopping for a Cause to raise money for someone/family that maybe going through hard times and could use a little extra money to help with bills, gas, or medical bills. This is the 6th annual event in memory of my dear friend Jane, who passed away from cancer in 2017.

There will be multiple vendors and crafters with a HUGE selection of items. Many of these vendors/crafters are also donating a portion of their sales to the family. There will be a free-will donation bake sale as well, plus a donation bucket at the door.

This year the family that will be receiving the generous donations will be Jeremy Engrav and family.

Jeremy was diagnosed last spring with a malignant brain tumor which was successfully removed. He has undergone radiation and chemotherapy over the past year with having scans every two months. During his most recent brain scan, it showed that there is a progression of disease. A new treatment plan has been set up with his neurologist to hopefully destroy the progression and stop any further progression.

Jeremy and his wife Betsy are busy raising their 4 beautiful children – Brayden (14), Brecken (11), Brantley (9), and Briar (7).
