Paint Rock Mushroom Hike

Participants in this hike can expect to see a variety of flowers in bloom typical of the unique “goat prairie” ecosystems found on area bluffs, and timber rattlesnake sightings are also possible. We will focus on the summer mushrooms that we can find fruiting along the trail. The hike will be about 2.5 miles round trip, with about 400 feet of elevation gain. Water, snacks, and sun protection highly recommended.
