Live & Learn: Old-Fashioned Movie Night – Waukon Public Library

This month’s featured film is Boys Town, a powerful, fact-based story of Father Edward J. Flanagan, a dedicated priest who established a Nebraska community for orphaned and troubled boys. Built on his belief that “there’s no such thing as a bad boy,” the story follows his mission as it is challenged by a defiant street youth who ultimately learns the value of compassion and discipline.
