Firewood Prep Days – wood staging area YRSF

Jan 14, Feb. 11, March 11 and April 15, 9 am to 1 pm
Selling firewood is our biggest fundraiser and Friends of Yellow River State Forest would love your help mornings – Jan 14, Feb. 11, March 11 and April 15 (second Saturday is Easter weekend, so we are working this third weekend this month) from 9 am to 1 pm.

Everyone is welcome, it doesn’t matter if you are a Friends of YRSF active member or not. No experience is necessary.

Kids who are old enough to help are welcome with adults, many hands make this an easier job!

Everyone doing any type of volunteer work at YRSF needs to sign a volunteer form annually.

Meet at the wood staging area (drive in, go past sawmills, go to the gate near the base of Firetower Road, listen for the chainsaws, you will find us.)
