Fall Volunteer Day – Yellow River State Forest

Our main task is making our state forest even more beautiful! Activities may include painting campsite marker posts and gazebos, along with cutting, splitting and stacking firewood. Supplies for these tasks will be provided.

Please wear sturdy walking/ hiking shoes (long pants are a good idea), and work gloves if you wish. Be sure to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on!

Volunteers MUST SIGN AND TURN IN VOLUNTEER WAIVER FORMS. Volunteers MUST sign in at 9 am at 729 State Forest Rd. We need to track volunteer hours and make sure everyone stays safe.

Don’t forget your water bottle, sunscreen and insect repellent.

Youth are welcome with adult supervision.
