For over 85 years, Allamakee-Clayton Electric Cooperative has remained dedicated to providing safe, reliable and affordable electric services and the latest innovations in electric technology to meet the changing needs of our member-consumers, neighbors, partners and communities in rural Northeast Iowa. Today, ACEC provides electricity to nearly 10,000 meters and over 7,000 members on approximately 2,500 miles of line in portions of eight counties: Allamakee, Clayton, Fayette, Winneshiek, Chickasaw, Bremer, Delaware and Dubuque.

 

To also help meet the needs of our rural residents, AC Skyways, a division of ACEC, provides fiber, wireless and satellite internet services to over 1,000 customers in the ACEC service footprint. ACEC is also dedicated to looking to future technologies, including solar, electric vehicles and other energy options. Located just outside of Postville, the ACEC office is open 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
