Waterville is located in a very scenic area of Allamakee County within 15 miles from Waukon. The city is close to many fishing streams and wonderful hunting areas. This small community hosts a variety of rural businesses serving the farmers and sportspeople of the area. It is also home to beautiful gift shops and even a thriving soap making business. Waterville Elementary school is a public school located within the community which has an enrollment of around 164 children in grades K - 6. Waterville has very active civic and volunteer groups. The current population is approximately 150.
