Educational opportunities, like our natural resources, are abundant. Four-year colleges are a short drive away at Luther College in Decorah, or Viterbo University in LaCrosse. LaCrosse also houses a campus of the University of Wisconsin. Upper Iowa University is nearby in Fayette. Technical training is close at Northeast Iowa Community College in Calmar, and Western Technical College in LaCrosse. Adult education and training is available at Allamakee County High Schools provided by these area technical institutes.
