Kerndt Brothers Savings Bank

Kerndt Brothers Savings Bank is a small, community bank with an agriculturally driven economy and a growing trend in tourism. Kerndt Brothers Savings Bank has been a closely held family bank since 1856. Those were the days of private banks and it was not incorporated as a state bank until 1908. A new branch office in neighboring Harpers Ferry, Iowa, was built in 1972.
